Waterhouse Spurs on Holiday

Helloooooo there.

August ALREADY?! Where is the year disappearing to?!

I just installed a little exhibition at the Moruya Library for SPUR, an initiative by the Eurobodalla Council. There are 8 pieces, all which will be exhibited up until the 25th of August.
It's a bit of a mixed bag, some older work from 2009, some birds from last year and some brand new things.

Here's a little taste...

If you'd like to come and watch me blunder along, i'll be holding a floor talk at 5pm on Thursday the 14th of August.

In other news I've been to Adelaide to see my little 'Wattle Bird' print in the South Australian Museum! The Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize opened last weekend and we popped down to attend the Gala Event. Have a look over here to check out all the great pieces in the exhibition. I didn't win any prizes but was lucky enough to sell my piece on opening night. I'm a bit sad to be parting with that little guy, he's one of my favourites.

If you happen to get to the exhibition please pretty please vote for my work in the people's choice award!!! xo

Looking a bit delirious! RED DOT! RED DOT!!!

Adelaide's a great city!
We had a lovely time wandering around the Art Gallery, Botanical Gardens and the South Australian Museum and ate many many delicious foodie things. You can even get free bike hire and cycle around, there are green spaces and cycle paths everywhere.
Here are some pics from our visit, click on the links for more info.
