Adventures of a Locavore

G'day y'all....

It's been a very very busy week....
Galavanting around the countryside to be precise!
It is s Matt & my 10 year anniversary this month so we had an adventure down to Eden for a romantic weekend at a little b and b called The Crown & Anchor Inn. It's a historic house perched on a hill overlooking Two Fold Bay on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Fantastic old antique details everywhere and the caretakers Lindsay and Lynne were lovely.

I want their Couch!
Here are a couple of shots from our walk along the headland. No whales.......sigh.
Everyone keeps seeing whales but me!

We did see a ridiculous amount of eagles and UBOPs (Unidentified Birds of Prey), echidnas, lyre birds, bower birds and a snake. Can't really complain....

There was a little business dealing too...
Poppy at The Wharf Locavore on the Tathra Wharf is now selling my prints and things.
If you get a chance I strongly recommend a visit.
Great views, particularly great coffee AND delicious cake!!

Oh, and there are pretty things to buy!

Here is the keeper of the Cake....
On the way home we stopped off at Foxglove Spires at Tilba Tilba and had a delightful walk around the garden. So beautiful. It was like being whisked away into a fairyland of falling petals and sunlight speckled foliage. I could have stayed there forever.

Apart from all this driving up and down the coast and working and other time wasting activities I have managed to make some work.

Meet Miss Elaura Lorikeet.

Elaura likes playing in the sunshine and partying upside down in the higher foliage with her pals.

More flights of fancy coming soon....
