Time is flying!
I can't believe it's almost March.
I've been experimenting with adding embroidery and drawing on top of the lino prints.
Maurice the Meerkat is keeping an eye on things.
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed really.
The embroidery thread is getting tangled and the time is running out.....
I've got a month til my exhibition in a little cafe in town called Monet's.
I've also been cutting the prints out and layering them together.
A Dearest for all seasons perhaps?
This guy's new too.
Howling for love.
I got a little carried away with the water spraying here.....quite like the effect though.
This one's a little bit more controlled.
I've never read it, but it brings to mind the title of Carson McCullers book,
Bat & Owl Press Merchandise anyone?
New red cheshire cat bookmarks......it was like a bloodbath at clean-up.
I've been madly printing up new stock to approach some more stores.
Milton and Berry are next on the selling front.
I've just started reading Evelyn Waugh's Vile Bodies.
It's very funny. I'm only 40 pages in and totally addicted.... :)
Look! It's Maurice with my hero, Sir David.
He certainly gets around....
We've been watching the Blue Planet this week.
Lots of inspiration from the deep seas.
Hope everyone's enjoying the Summer Weather.
J :)
