Arthur Boyd Inspires While Albert Looks for Love

The Book Thief is done and dusted.......now onto Arthur Boyd, A Life.
It's harder to procrastinate when you're reading about another inspiring artist.
I love his prints. And his marks.

Arthur Boyd, The Lady and the Unicorn, 1973-74
etching and aquatint, 795 x 590 mm

Arthur Boyd, Nebuchadnezzar on fire falling over a waterfall, 1966-68, oil on canvas, 183.5 x 175.9cm

So..................What do you think about the ch-ch-ch-ch-chaaaaaanges?
I'm going to try another with black watercolour and enamel paint next.....it'd make a nice contrast.
But wait......it's not finished yet, stay tuned.

Meanwhile, I've been experimenting with my lino prints.
These are the romantic, possibly female animal characters in contrast to my manly (well sort of) manly man animals of the world (the black prints).
I intend to have a dating extravaganza eventually.

Owl Seeking Hooters
Albert likes long moonlit flights with raw rabbit on the wing for tea. He's looking for a girl who's not afraid of heights and has a good eye for spotting a sale.

These two friendly chaps are the latest of the menfolk. Meet Mr. Rudy Bat and Mr. Manny Squirrel.
