Art Therapy

Evening Poppets.

It's a few days after the funeral and I'm trying to work up enough concentration to start something.
I'm going to make a memorial print of Grandpop for my family using that great bicycle photo.
True to form, I am procrastinating.

BUT......I realised there are all these things I never got around to sharing. Things that helped keep my mind off the whole horrible lost Grandpop situation.
Art is a therapy. It heals. It HELPS. If nothing else, it is distracting.
So.......

I've made a logo for Bat & Owl Press, my new trading name......

Some Literary Owl Bookplates to sell.......

Working on a new lino for a special occasion (secret! you'll find out soon......)

making an embroidery for a friend's birthday.......

and playing around with some small collage drawings using my lino blocks to make rubbings.

Oh, and here's a Furry Moon...

AND here are some floral arrangements that distracted me from my other distractions......

and a FANTASTIC book that YOU should read.

And, some nuclear glowing canola fields on the way to Goulburn for the funeral.

Oh, and a misty morning before all the sadness.

And,
That's it.

  1. Julieeee, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandpop.

You've done such a great job on those bookplates! Love the look of the moons too. Everything has a very distinct ju ju feel about it. You should be really proud!
